I really, really wonder about the ads Gmail provides by scanning your emails for keywords and then matching you up with things it thinks you might be interested in. Sometimes the links are obvious, although stupid (like when you email someone about snacks and then it suggests that you might want to click on a link to the WORLD’S LARGEST PRETZEL EMPORIUM.)
But sometimes the links are very odd.
Semen Tanks.com. “If you need a semen tank the MVE Semen Tank is the best in the artificial breeding business.”
HOW DID GOOGLE KNOW I WAS IN THE MARKET FOR A SEMEN TANK? Is it because of the MANY email conversations (“mailsations”) I am always having about semen*???
No wonder Google is the market leader.
*I am not always having conversations about semen. Or, you know, ever.
